GROW UP SHOW INTRODUCTION
A new original animation begins—brought to you by the creative lineup behind “Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend”
Director: Kanta Kamei, Original Character Concepts: Kurehito Misaki, and Production: A-1 Pictures / Psyde Kick Studio!
In the 1950s, set against the backdrop of Japan at the very height of its era of rapid economic growth— a time when the circus stood at the center of entertainment, seamlessly woven into the fabric of people's daily lives.
Vying for a coveted spot in the Circus Collection—a global festival open only to the world's most elite troupes— countless circus companies travel across Japan, performing as they go and engaging in fierce daily competition.
As the story unfolds, the Sunflower Circus is being led by its ringmaster, Maria.
While struggling valiantly against their perpetual financial woes as they tour from town to town, the Sunflower Circus receives a new arrival: Mizuka Tsurumaki—
a true circus prodigy—who joins their ranks due to certain circumstances.
Was Mizuka’s run in with the Sunflower Circus a matter of chance or destiny?
The one-of-a-kind circus show envisioned by girls
chasing their dreams—let the show begin!
