After lying in a coma for two years caused by a traffic accident, Shiki Ryougi awakens with amnesia. Inexplicably, she finds, in turn, that she has also obtained the “Mystic Eyes of Death Perception” in which she can see the invisible lines of mortality that hold every living and non-living thing together. Working for a small independent agency, Shiki attempts to unravel the baffling mystery behind a series of abnormal, horrifying incidents. March 25th—just another day during spring break.
Koyomi Araragi, a second year high school student at Naoetsu High School, befriends Tsubasa Hanekawa, the top honors student at his school. Tsubasa mentions a rumor about a “blonde vampire” that has been sighted around their town recently. Usually, Koyomi who is usually anti-social takes a liking to Tsubasa’s down-to-earth personality.
That evening, Koyomi encounters this rumored vampire. She is Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade, also known as the “King of Apparitions.” The blonde, golden eyed vampire had all four of her limbs cut off and was lying in a pool of her own blood as she cried out to Koyomi to save her.
Just as he was told Koyomi gives Kiss-shot his blood to save her life and the very next moment he awoke, Koyomi was re-born as her vampire kin.
As Koyomi struggles to accept his existence, Kiss-shot whispers “welcome to the world of darkness…”

Everyone is in the midst of preparing for a festival which is celebrated once every 11 years in True Cross Academy Town. However behind the scenes in the shadows, a "Phantom Train" goes berserk while the barriers protecting the town from demon intrusions were under repair. Rin, Yukio, and Shiemi are sent to exorcise the Phantom Train, but as usual Rin complicates the situation. Among all of the chaos, Rin meets a demon in the form of a young boy. Meanwhile, Cheng-Long Liu, a Senior Exorcist First Class from the Taiwan Branch joins Shura in the repair operation and the story takes an unexpected turn as all their fates cross.

Universal Century 0068, Side 3 – The Autonomous Republic of Munzo.
Zeon Zum Deikun, preaching the reformation of humanity through advancement into outer space, has been attempting to declare Munzo's complete independence from the Earth Federation government. Suddenly, he collapses and dies in the middle of a speech to the Diet.
Upon Deikun’s death, his aide Jimba Ral begins spreading conspiracy theories about the Zabi family. But despite his efforts, the Zabi family, led by Degwin Sodo Zabi, intensifies its secret maneuvering to seize control of Side 3.
As we witness for the first time the untold chaotic history of the Universal Century, Casval and Artesia, Deikun's orphaned children, must face destinies just as tumultuous as the era itself.

Universal Century 0071. Three years have passed since the escape from Side 3's Autonomous Republic of Munzo.
Casval and Artesia, the orphaned children of Zeon Zum Deikun, have fled to Earth along with Jimba Ral and taken refuge in the household of Teabolo Mass. They now live quiet lives under the names Édouard and Sayla. However, they are once again being targeted by the evil schemes of the pursuing Zabi family...

Universal Century 0074. Since leaving Texas Colony, Édouard Mass has camouflaged his identity and enrolled in the Autonomous Republic of Zeon's Space Defense Military Academy under the name of Char Aznable. He develops a friendship with his classmate Garma, a scion of the Zabi family. Gradually the two become admired by the other students.
Then, in Universal Century 0077, the young at last rise up in arms and begin the fight for independence against the Earth Federation's security forces. This rebellion, however, also marks the beginning of Char’s spectacular scenario of revenge…

Jintan, Menma, Anaru, Yukiatsu, Tsuruko, and Poppo -- six grade-school students who were the best of friends. As the “Super Peace Busters,” they always played together at their “secret base” until Menma died in a tragic accident.
Five years later, Menma appeared before Jintan, now a freshman of high school. No one could see her but Jintan, and Menma told him that she wanted the Super Peace Busters to grant her a certain wish. But not even Menma herself remembered what that wish was. Having been traumatized by Menma’s death, the five had drifted apart, but after giving vent to their bottled-up feelings in an emotionally-charged moment, they gradually went back to being the "gang" of years past.
And then Menma said goodbye, leaving letters to everyone of the Super Peace Busters.
