“If I told you that there’s more than 24 hours in a day, would you believe me?”

The “Dark Hour”—the time which exists between each day. During those hours, the town stands still, the people are　transformed into mere objects, and countless monsters called “Shadows” run rampant through the town.

Only the Personas, beings with special powers, are able to combat these creatures.

Makoto Yuki, a transfer student at Gekkoukan High School, is suddenly awakened with the powers to control a Persona. Yuki is recruited to join other Persona summoners of his school in the “Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad.”

As they continue to investigate the situations surrounding the Dark Hours, they all come face to face with their shocking fate…

“I wish it would stay like this every day…”

Following his transfer to Gekkoukan Private Academy, Makoto Yuki is suddenly attacked by a strange monster called Shadows and is awakened to a power which allowed him to summon a Persona. Seeing Makoto’s potential, the members of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad approach him to join them in their battle against these creatures. Makoto, initially feeling detached from the situation accepts their invitation indifferently, but as he learned more about the “Dark Hour,” and engaged in many harsh battles, he began feeling a strong bond with his teammates.

And so the season turned from spring to summer… the battle was far from over for the SEES team, now joined by a new member, but they all felt a sense of fulfillment even as they faced these abnormal circumstances. The wheels of fate began to turn… as they were about to learn of the new trials they must face.

“I kind of understand it now. You're afraid of losing something, aren't you?”

The season is now autumn. The days of battling the Shadows for Makoto Yuki and the members of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad were nearing its end.

Determined to bring an end to the Dark Hour, Makoto and his team engage in countless life-or-death battles. As they continue to fight, some members face the death of their beloved friends and family, while some come to realize what they must fight for and others struggle to make sense out of all the bloodshed.

Then one day, Makoto encounters the mysterious transfer student, Ryoji Mochizuki. The wheels of fate begin turning as they reach the dawn of a new day…

And so begins a new battle to find their connections to one another.

“The hour of extinction is approaching. There is no way to stop it.”

They have learned of death, seen death and confronted death. Makoto and his team had grown through numerous encounters and separations.

Maybe they’ve been fighting for themselves, not for the world. Even so, they continued to battle, believing there will be a peaceful future.

However, the boy says that extinction is the fate of humanity. The boy Makoto believed was his friend thrusts before him this cruel reality.

The season is now winter. In order to welcome the spring, what decision must Makoto make…?
